How To Create

Creative Labs, Inc. is looking for the next generation of great filmmakers. We invite you to make your next film with the Creative Vado HD Pocket Video Cam for a chance at multiple prizes valued at thousands of dollars. There are even a couple of internships up for grabs.
The contest is simple. With the Vado HD Pocket Video Cam you will never miss a moment again, so we challenge you to make a film around this theme: A moment can change everything.
Other than that, we leave it to you. You can make any genre of film you like... action, thriller, drama, comedy, whatever you like. (Okay, we do have some limits.) Most of all, be creative. Think of "out of the box". Surprise us.

First thing you got to do is get your hands on a VadoHD Pocket Cam. If you are an enrolled student at an accredited film school and from the list of participating schools, you may obtain a VadoHD Pocket Cam on loan from your film school camera department. If you are not from one of the participating schools, you may apply for a loan-out camera by filling out our participating student form.

Make the best film you can make. Your film must be entirely shot on the VadoHD Pocket Cam, but the soundtrack can be recorded and/or created by you. You definitely want to check out the "Double D's" list of Tips & Tricks.

Your masterpiece is complete! Now it's time to get it seen. Simply upload your film to your Youtube account and tell us the video ID. Once your film is approved you will see it in your account page and you will be ready to promote your film.

To be somebody, you got to get seen. The goal is to get as many votes as possible and lucky for you we give you all the tools to connect your film to everybody you know (and don't know).

You got to win over the general audience and the experts. We have prizes for the most popular video, the audience favorite and the expert's choice.
